Draw the fork in a glass of water, showing the following: • The Refraction- how does the water change the appearance of the fork? • The Value shifts- How does the light/water interact change the value? Where does it get dark? Where does it get light? • The glass- How do the water and the light interact with the glass? • The background- – please include a gradient (or value shift) – Don’t leave it blank – If using the photo, draw the fabric in the background • How big?- Fill an 11”x17” sheet of paper • How Dark? – use at least a 4B pencil • This should take at least 3 hours- a drawing in “completed” in one period will earn you a lower grade
